Marriott Marquis Atlanta, GA
About Us
The Civil Rights Criminal Justice Legal Summit will include keynote speakers, moderated panel discussions, presentations, and workshops focused on how to recognize and incorporate the social justice implications of individual cases in the broader struggle for civil and human rights. There will be discussions and perspectives from a wide range of presenters, including judges, policymakers, racial and social justice advocates, public defenders, criminal defense attorneys, and plaintiffs’ attorneys involved in civil rights litigation against law enforcement and local governments. Through engaging discussions and training, we will present tangible ways the legal profession can zealously and practically promote equity and fairness for marginalized people through our legal systems and, simultaneously, build community among those committed to contributing to this vision.

We emphasize transparency in everything we do, setting bold goals and pursuing a clear strategy that seeks to move the needle. The Civil Rights Criminal Justice Legal Summit is dedicated to cementing a better future for all. We are constantly growing and adapting to the changes of society, and invite you to register today and learn more about how you can make an impact at our conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

Our Mission

Our mission is to train legal practitioners and criminal justice and civil rights reform advocates to address racial, social, and economic inequity in practice court and through the legal system. We challenge the notion that the way things are is the way things should always be, and are proud to be a force for positive transformation.
One of our goals is to inspire and promote impactful solutions to some of the most critical issues we face through the power of civic engagement. We are inspired by the belief that the legal profession can shape and mold a society where everyone can achieve their true potential. Join our community of legal activists and allies as we work towards a better and more just world. Register now to join us at the first-ever The Civil Rights Criminal Justice Legal Summit in September.
"Where you see wrong or inequality or injustice, speak out, because this is your country. This is your democracy. Make it. Protect it. Pass it on."
